TRADITION MEETS MODERN // Guests are greeted with a modern concrete walkway and an all-glass front door flanked by large windows. To the right of the entry, adorned with a floor-length custom mirror, is a fresh, accessible music room complete with a grand piano, daybed, Kelly Wearstler chairs, and Floral Graffiti wallpaper by Porter Teleo.
ROOM TO RELAX // The homeowner has three active children, so making the space chic for entertaining while indestructible for young kids and a dog was essential. The vibe — kid-friendly with a masculine edge — starts with carefully curated art and a soothing color palette of navy, white, and gray with touches of brown, warm woods, and mixed metals.
LOUNGING AROUND // The living room to the left of the entry is dubbed “the lounge.” It’s one of the homeowner’s favorite spaces because it’s sophisticated enough for adults but also approachable for kids. The room boasts a massive sofa, a wall-to-wall marble-topped bar, and a Design Within Reach Cherner game table and chairs.
