This home designed for Ashley Robertson, creator of The Teacher Diva, and her husband and two boys needed to be a space that was livable and comfortable for the whole family while also being on-brand with her style and business. The theme for the home – romantic, elevated Parisian – was carried over into every corner to create perfect places to use when telling stories about her life and communicating who she is.
BEAUTIFUL BIENVENUE // Upon entry, guests are drawn into the home and living area with elegant Parisian elements, including a new ornate ceiling medallion, a female bust from CB2, and a gold Anthropologie mirror.
TAILORED TASTE // Ashley originally wanted an all-white kitchen, but we convinced her to try a bold color on the cabinetry. The custom marble countertop cascades to the floor, creating a functional piece of art.
The dining room features a Victorian-style table from France and Son paired with simple Scout & Nimble dining chairs.
SOCIAL SETTING // The office is the primary location for Ashley’s social media content. Contrasting colors of black and white are used as a bold backdrop for the soft tones of the Made Goods desk and Kisabeth Furniture accent chairs. It is one of her favorite rooms in the home because it’s dramatic, and everyone that comes over wants to peek inside.
SIMPLY SERENE // The bedroom and bath are a sanctuary, and Ashley wanted them to feel like a boutique hotel. The soothing hotel touches come together seamlessly with a gorgeous, sophisticated Victorian-style floor mirror.
