Detoxing your body is like pressing a reset button — you clear away the bad stuff, such as accumulated toxins and pollutants, and provide a clean slate for your body to function optimally.
Don’t want to down a bunch of supplements or mix up some herbal concoctions? You don’t have to. There are many ways to detox safely and effectively, and they don’t all require guzzling green juices or going on 20-hour fasts. Check out a few ideas below:
Do some yoga. Light a candle, roll out your mat, and embrace the detoxifying power of yoga. With all the twists and inversions, the practice helps improve circulation, stimulate digestion, and flush out toxins through sweat. When you breathe deeply, you also get more oxygen to your cells, contributing to brighter, healthier skin.
